The Myers Cocktail IV contains several vitamins, minerals, and amino acids that are great for general nutritional supplementation. John Myer, MD was a well- known doctor from Boston that is one of the pioneers of Nutritional IV therapies and researched outcomes using many of the ingredients in our standard IV. His research found medical benefits for so many different conditions that his work has continued past his death in 1984. Most Infusions use a variation of the Myers’ IV in their clinics. This is a great choice for maintenance therapy, but has shown benefit for a multitude of ailments.

This intravenous therapy is a strong blend of antioxidants that support strong cognition and healthy aging. This IV should be used in a in a series of ten IV’s to help support the repair mechanism in the body while strengthening brain function, bones, connective tissue and energy. Age adjusted telomere length is the best method to assess biological age using structural analysis of chromosomal age change in the telomere.

Telomeres are the little caps on the end of the chromosomes that carry our DNA. Many think of them as the tips of the shoelaces that keep everything from unraveling. Telomeres get shorter with age and several other environmental and lifestyle influences can speed up telomere shortening, speeding up the aging process. Therapies directed at slowing the loss of telomere length may slow aging and age-related diseases.

If you are having an elective surgical procedure in the future you should consider preparing the body for surgery 4-8 weeks prior to your surgery date. Surgery can be a heavy stress on the body and proper preparation can reduce the effects of stress on the body before and after surgery. The body has an incredible, innate ability to heal itself, but there are many factors that unfortunately contribute to less than optimal recovery.

Ibutamoren is an oral growth hormone peptide and is also known as MK-677. It is a long-acting growth hormone secretagogue (pronounced se-cre-ta-gog), a substance that promotes secretion. It works by mimicking the growth hormone (GH)-stimulating action of the hunger hormone ghrelin. By using growth hormone secretors, the body increases production of its own growth hormone. As a result, the body repairs and rejuvenates itself over time, which can slow down the aging process. 

Ibutamoren is orally administered, which makes it unique from other secretagogues prescribed by such as GHRP and Sermorelin, which are all administered by injection and cannot be absorbed orally. Ibutamoren remains active in the body for a longer period of time compared to injectable secretagogues. Ibutamoren requires only a once daily dose at bedtime and remains active for roughly 24 hours in the body, whereas GH levels remain elevated for about 90 minutes after administering a GHRP injection.
